TechCrunch European Cities Survey 2021: Put Your City on the Map

TechCrunch Launches Survey of European Startup Ecosystems Beyond Capital Cities

TechCrunch is initiating a significant new undertaking: a comprehensive survey focused on founders and investors situated in European cities outside of the major capital hubs.

Gathering Insights from Regional Tech Hubs

Over the coming weeks, we will be soliciting input from entrepreneurs in these cities, allowing them to describe their local ecosystems directly.

This represents a unique opportunity to showcase your city’s prominence on the TechCrunch platform!

This current effort builds upon a substantial investor survey completed over the past six months, which primarily concentrated on capital cities.

These surveys are part of an ongoing series conducted for Extra Crunch, our subscription-based service dedicated to providing in-depth analysis of critical issues for both startups and investors.

(Please note that access to Extra Crunch is currently unavailable in certain European countries, which explains why some cities may not be included in this initial phase.)

Expanding the Scope of the Survey

The initial wave of surveys, as detailed below, largely focused on capital cities.

Now, we are turning our attention to founders and investors in other European cities to gain a clearer understanding of how these hubs are developing, as viewed by those actively involved.

We are keen to learn about the evolution of your city’s startup environment, the impact of COVID-19 on the tech industry, and its anticipated future trajectory.

Submissions will be published with minimal editing, and we encourage responses of at least one to two paragraphs in length.

If you are a tech startup founder or investor located in one of the listed cities, please complete our survey form here.
