Enhancing Windows Vista Sidebar Functionality with the AOL/AIM Gadget
A useful addition has recently become available for the Windows Vista Sidebar, addressing its limitations. The AOL/AIM gadget offers improved functionality, though initial users may encounter some instability. It’s important to be aware that the gadget may not operate flawlessly.
Installation Process
Begin by downloading and installing the gadget from its official source. Following installation, a right-click within the sidebar area will reveal a context menu. Select the "Add Gadgets" option from this menu.
The AOL/AIM gadget icon should then appear in the available gadget list. Double-clicking this icon will automatically integrate it into your sidebar.
After adding the gadget, you can log in to your AOL or AIM account. The interface will then display information similar to the following:
