Firefox Tab Sidebar: Preview & Manage Tabs Easily

Tab Sidebar: Managing Tabs in a New Way
Do you find a sidebar more appealing for tab management than the traditional Tab Bar? If so, the Tab Sidebar extension offers a solution, allowing you to relocate your tabs to the side of the browser window.
Setup and Configuration
Following the installation of Tab Sidebar, the initial step involves accessing the options menu. This area provides a comprehensive range of settings for controlling your tabs.
Within the options, you can choose to conceal the standard Tab Bar while the Sidebar is in use. Furthermore, you can enable navigation buttons and customize the appearance of page previews.
Perhaps most importantly, you have the flexibility to determine the precise location of your Tab Sidebar, selecting from five different placement options.
Using Tab Sidebar
Upon installation, Tab Sidebar isn't immediately visible; activation is required.
To activate it, navigate to the “View Menu”, then select “Sidebar”, and finally choose “Tab Sidebar”. A convenient hotkey combination is also available for quick access.
Once activated, the Tab Bar will automatically disappear if you've selected that option. The Sidebar displays previews of your open pages, along with their respective titles.
An enlarged preview, showing both the webpage name and address, can be accessed. Scrolling through the tabs is achieved by holding the mouse over the Sidebar and using the mouse wheel, or by utilizing the navigation arrows at the top and bottom.
Final Thoughts
For Firefox users who prefer a sidebar-based workflow, Tab Sidebar could be a valuable addition to their browsing experience.
