Pokémon Unite Now Available on Android & iOS

Pokémon Unite Launches on Mobile Platforms
Pokémon Unite is currently available for download and gameplay on both Android and iOS devices. This release offers the identical free-to-play MOBA experience, featuring the same maps and Pokémon as the version initially launched on the Nintendo Switch in July.
Prior to its mobile introduction, the Pokémon Unite development team implemented a new update. Producer Masaaki Hoshino outlined the enhancements on the game’s official website.
Key Features of the Update
The update introduces complete cross-platform play, enabling seamless connectivity and account linking between mobile devices and the Nintendo Switch. This allows players to continue their progress across different platforms.
Unite Squads have also been incorporated, facilitating team formation among Trainers. Players can establish their own squads or discover existing ones through the game’s features.
These squads can utilize descriptive “tags” to identify shared interests, simplifying the process of finding compatible teammates.
Additional Content and Improvements
- A second battle pass has been added, offering a fresh selection of cosmetic items.
- New in-game events provide engaging challenges and rewards.
- Additional held items have been introduced, expanding strategic options.
- Expanded language support caters to a wider player base.
Addressing Held Item Grade Disparity
Hoshino revealed that a new game mode is under development. This mode is specifically designed to create a more balanced competitive environment for all Trainers.
The intention is to mitigate the advantage conferred by higher-grade held items, offering players who choose not to invest in these items a more equitable opportunity to succeed.
Further details regarding this new mode will be released as development progresses.
