Vivatech 2025 Finalists: Top 5 Visionary Startups

VivaTech Announces Innovation of the Year Finalists

Selecting just five finalists from a pool of thirty highly innovative startups proved to be a significant challenge. The inaugural VivaTech Innovation of the Year award garnered an exceptional number of applications from companies addressing substantial global issues. These startups presented solutions that were not only technically advanced but also demonstrated scalability and a forward-thinking approach.

This year marks the debut of the VivaTech Innovation of the Year award, designed to recognize and promote the pioneering startups that are actively reshaping the future landscape. Open to all startups exhibiting at VivaTech 2025, the award acknowledges exceptional creativity, technological advancement, and the potential for industry-wide transformation.

Meet the Finalists

We are pleased to announce the five finalists who will present their innovations live at VivaTech 2025:

BeyondMath: This company has developed the world’s first generative physics platform. It replaces traditional, time-consuming, and costly simulations with physics powered by artificial intelligence in real-time. This allows engineers to run simulations 1,000 times faster and rapidly test numerous designs, reducing both time and expenses.

Chipiron: Focused on accessibility, Chipiron is creating the first lightweight, affordable MRI machine. Utilizing ultra-low magnetic fields, it maintains image quality while aiming to make MRI technology 100 times more accessible. This could enable widespread early screening, functioning similarly to a routine blood test.

Enerdrape: Enerdrape introduces the first non-invasive geothermal panels. These panels convert underground spaces, such as parking garages and tunnels, into sources of renewable heating and cooling. This allows for rapid, low-carbon retrofits in urban areas without the need for drilling.

Hua Tech International: This company offers an automated microfluidic platform. It integrates a nanostructured semiconductor biochip, multiplex fluorescence staining, and AI-driven analysis to accurately capture, identify, and analyze rare circulating cells for improved cancer diagnostics.

Lumisync: Lumisync is revolutionizing data centers by enabling data flow synchronization at the speed of light. Their 100% photonic oscillator reduces both latency and energy consumption by a factor of 1,000.

Final Pitch and Awards Ceremony

These exceptional companies will present their solutions during the Final of the VivaTech Innovation of the Year on Wednesday, June 11 at 1:35 p.m. PT, on the Pitch Studio Stage. Following each presentation, a Q&A session will be held with a panel of expert judges. The panel includes Jeff Taylor from TechCrunch, Jaja Liao of 25madison, Shabir Vasram of Daphni, and Howard Wright of Nvidia.

The Innovation of the Year winner will be revealed the following day at the VivaTech Global Awards Ceremony on Thursday, June 12 at 5:45 p.m. on Stage 1. The winning startup will receive a complimentary Startup Corner at VivaTech 2026 and a place in the TechCrunch Startup Battlefield 200.

The Ceremony will also recognize the winners of the other VivaTech Awards:

  • The Female Founder Challenge, honoring women leaders of innovative startups driving disruptive technologies.
  • The Africatech Awards, a Pan-African initiative supporting startups making a positive impact in green tech, health tech, and e-commerce/fintech.
  • The Next Startupper Challenge, an award for students and university entrepreneurs working on impactful projects.
  • The Tech for Change Award, recognizing startups prioritizing positive impact within their business models.

Further updates will be provided as we anticipate witnessing these innovative founders showcase their work.
