Employees at the Amazon facility in Bessemer, Alabama, have garnered considerable public endorsement from Democratic figures, including Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden, who previously declared his intention to be a staunch advocate for unions.

Marco Rubio’s Stance

In a recent opinion piece published in USA Today, Marco Rubio voiced his support for the workers, despite acknowledging the potential “risks associated with the extensive influence of labor organizations.” The Senator from Florida recognizes the Republican Party’s traditional alignment with management, but asserts that “the era of businesses presuming support from conservatives is concluding.”
