Network Connectivity Options

File Expert’s Network manager supports Windows/Samba sharing, as well as FTP, SFTP, FTPS, WebDAV, and Bluetooth OBEX clients.

These protocols enable access to a computer from your phone by inputting the necessary account credentials.

Sharing Content and WiFi File Transfer

The Share My Contents feature facilitates HTTP, FTP, and Bluetooth sharing with a desktop computer. For direct file transfer with another File Expert-enabled device, the WiFi File Receiver can be initiated.

Favorites and Shortcuts

Frequently accessed files and folders can be added to your File Expert Favorites for quick access. Shortcuts to folders can also be created on your desktop.

However, launching File Expert with an existing shortcut will simply open the app, rather than directly navigating to the specified folder, unless File Expert isn't already running.

Utilities and Settings

The Utilities section provides access to a Theme Manager, a tool for discovering new applications, and the application’s Settings.

Within File Explorer Settings, you can enable Root Explorer, which is disabled by default. The default port, username, and password for web login can be adjusted under Web Settings.

Furthermore, the default app backup directory can be changed via App Manager Settings, and options for Auto Backup, Silent Install APK, and Silent Uninstall App can be enabled.

Conclusion

In conclusion, File Expert is a versatile and powerful file management and sharing application. It uniquely supports PC to phone to PC and phone to phone WiFi file transfer.

Despite its extensive features, File Expert remains free of charge and is not supported by advertisements.
