“A key motivator for our customers, beyond carbon reduction, is the potential for cost savings compared to current grid electricity prices,” stated Miller. “Our products can deliver significant savings to commercial customers, typically through an Energy Services Agreement, where customers experience annual savings from the first year without any upfront investment.”
Product Specifications and Future Development
Mainspring’s initial commercial product boasts a rated output of 250 kW and is housed within a standard 8′ x 20′ container. Each package integrates two 125 kW linear generator cores, alongside UL-listed grid-tie inverters and auxiliary components, providing a complete, turn-key solution.
Future iterations will offer increased power output, catering to the needs of industrial businesses, data centers, hospitals, smart cities, and utility-scale grid applications.
