Hire Remote Marketers | MarketerHire

MarketerHire, a startup headquartered in Los Angeles and supported by numerous leaders from the city’s most successful startups, has introduced a new service that connects freelance marketing professionals with available positions listed on its platform.
According to Nick Green, co-founder and CEO of Thrive Market – a MarketerHire client and investor – today’s dynamic startup landscape increasingly relies on the specialized knowledge of industry experts, often to a greater extent than generalist employees. He stated that for many rapidly expanding businesses, constructing a large internal team is no longer the most efficient approach; instead, utilizing top specialists to complete projects is preferable, and MarketerHire facilitates the discovery and pairing of this talent – all on a remote basis.
The company has secured $4 million in funding to date from leaders such as Green, as well as other undisclosed C-level executives from companies including Zillow, FabFitFun, Seamless and Notion.
MarketerHire offers a selection of pre-screened marketing experts, matching them with open roles at brands and agencies based on submitted qualifications, educational background, skills, and project requirements. The company claims that businesses can typically fill vacancies within 48 hours.
This latest enhancement to the company’s service delivers a more efficient matching process, utilizing machine learning algorithms to analyze job postings based on various attributes and specific marketing functions.
Andy Appelbaum, managing partner of RiverPark Ventures and co-founder of Seamless, and an investor in MarketerHire, explained that “marketing” now represents a wide range of specialized areas and platform-specific skills – encompassing areas like SEO, SMS marketing, Amazon advertising, and TikTok strategies. He further noted that as digital marketing algorithms, optimal practices, and required expertise evolve quickly, organizations require immediate access to skilled professionals to address gaps within their existing teams.
MarketerHire’s current clientele includes well-known brands such as Allbirds, Netflix, PUMA and Quip, and its network of marketing professionals includes former executives from companies like Netflix, Sephora, Rothy’s, Facebook, Uber and Glossier. The market they serve represents a substantial $248.9 billion in business expenditure.
