Lynk Secures Funding from UBS Investment Bank - Knowledge-as-a-Service

Lynk Secures Additional Funding, Expanding Partnership with UBS
Lynk, a platform delivering knowledge-as-a-service and boasting a network of over 840,000 experts, has announced a further investment. This addition supplements the previously reported $5 million raised during its Series B funding round.
The new capital injection elevates the total for this round to $29 million. This marks a significant milestone, representing the inaugural private equity investment by UBS into Lynk.
UBS's Growing Involvement
Prior to this funding, UBS became a client of Lynk in 2020. A collaborative agreement was then established in May, granting UBS’s research analysts and institutional investors access to Lynk’s extensive database and specialized tools.
The startup, established in 2015 by CEO Peggy Choi, leverages machine learning algorithms to facilitate connections between users and relevant experts.
Lynk's Core Mission and Global Presence
Lynk aims to provide its clientele – encompassing financial institutions and governmental bodies – with access to specialized knowledge sources that may be inaccessible through conventional means.
The company maintains a global footprint, with offices strategically located in New York, Hong Kong, Singapore, Mumbai, Shanghai, and Toronto.
Expanding Collaboration and Expert Network
The additional funding will be utilized to deepen the existing collaboration between Lynk and UBS Group. UBS Investment Bank’s Global Markets division is already extending Lynk’s services to its institutional investor base.
Furthermore, highly-regarded analysts from UBS Global Research have joined the Lynk platform as subject matter experts.
Areas of Expertise
- Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG)

- Industry trends within China
This expansion of expertise further strengthens Lynk’s position as a leading knowledge-as-a-service provider.
