CampusAI at TechCrunch Disrupt 2025: Bridging the AI Training Gap

The Growing Need for AI Training and CampusAI's Response

As businesses strive for greater efficiency and a competitive edge, the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools is becoming increasingly prevalent. This shift is leading many companies to encourage, or even mandate, that their workforce acquire proficiency in utilizing these technologies. However, this widespread adoption has simultaneously revealed a significant gap in available training resources.

Aureliusz Gorski, founder and CEO of Warsaw-based CampusAI, highlighted this issue, stating that there are limited solutions currently available specifically designed for individuals without a technical background.

Introducing CampusAI: Accessible AI Education

CampusAI addresses this challenge with an educational platform designed to make AI learning accessible to a broad audience. The platform’s core mission is to empower individuals to integrate AI into their daily workflows, enhancing performance in areas such as sales, human resources, legal operations, and even personal branding.

The platform’s objective is to foster understanding and practical application of AI, rather than creating apprehension surrounding it.

A Learning Ecosystem: Courses and a Metaverse Campus

CampusAI presented its solution prior to the TechCrunch Disrupt conference, where it was recognized as a Startup Battlefield Top 20 finalist. The company’s primary offering is a comprehensive online learning ecosystem comprised of two key elements:

  • Avatar-Based Courses: Engaging courses delivered through an innovative avatar-based learning model.
  • Metaverse Campus: A virtual campus environment where users can expand their skillset, network with peers, and participate in collaborative projects.

This approach can be likened to a Roblox-style experience, but geared towards adult learners.

Flexible Learning Options: Consumer and B2B Solutions

CampusAI provides its learning platform directly to individual consumers, as well as to businesses seeking to implement AI upskilling programs for their employees. The platform grants access to a diverse range of AI models – including ChatGPT, Gemini, Midjourney, and Flux – allowing users to experiment and learn within a single environment, eliminating the need for multiple account registrations and subscriptions.

The team consistently updates course materials to reflect the rapid advancements in the field of technology.

Pricing and Implementation for Businesses

CampusAI’s consumer-focused flagship course, “Me+AI,” is offered at a price of $250 per year, providing a personalized learning journey. For businesses, the “Team+AI” product is priced at $25,000 annually.

“We are assisting companies in cultivating a culture of ‘human plus AI’ readiness, facilitating a seamless transition,” Gorski explained.

Team+AI: A Phased Approach to AI Integration

The initial three weeks of the Team+AI program involve an AI readiness assessment for the organization, a workshop tailored for managers, and a company-wide webinar. The subsequent four weeks focus on personalized development paths for employees, aligned with specific company objectives.

Aleksandra Przegalińska, an AI researcher and scientific advisor to CampusAI, elaborated, “Professionals from any field, such as HR or finance, can find relevant courses designed to enhance their expertise. CampusAI is capable of creating customized learning pathways for specific organizations, enabling a tailored approach.”

A Research-Driven Learning Methodology

CampusAI’s learning methodology is grounded in Przegalińska’s research on human-AI collaboration, focusing on improving business outcomes and complex problem-solving. The core principle involves utilizing effective prompting strategies to cultivate AI proficiency, empowering individuals to amplify their capabilities.

Tools for Practical Application: Prompt Book and AI Gym

Students enrolled in CampusAI courses gain access to the company’s comprehensive prompt book, which serves as both a repository of prompts and a guide for crafting more effective prompts. The virtual campus also features an “AI Gym,” a platform where students can engage in targeted exercises and challenges, receiving continuous assessment from an AI agent.

Przegalińska emphasized, “Our goal is to create an environment where AI is not used to simply delegate tasks, but rather to collaborate with it in various ways. AI can serve as a teammate, a sparring partner, a critic, or a coach – enhancing your work rather than replacing it.”

Measurable Results and Rapid Growth

CampusAI asserts that its courses deliver a demonstrable return on investment, with employees experiencing a 40% increase in efficiency and a 60% improvement in job satisfaction. The company, established two years ago, has experienced significant growth.

Gorski noted the company’s success in Poland, stating, “We achieved substantial success in Poland within the first two weeks of launch in 2023, acquiring over 600 clients who opted for our lifetime membership. This momentum propelled our user base to 35,000.”

Expanding Reach and Future Plans

CampusAI currently serves 60 enterprise clients, including prominent organizations such as ING, T-Mobile, Lenovo, and Ikea. The company projects to exceed $2 million in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) by 2025. Currently, CampusAI is securing a $20 million Series A funding round to facilitate expansion into 40 markets by 2030.

Offering its program in Polish, English, and Spanish, CampusAI has recently extended its reach to the U.K. and the U.S., prioritizing B2B sales before expanding into direct-to-consumer offerings.

Community and Digital Twin Technology

Course graduates can join Community+AI, a digital hub for members to connect, exchange knowledge, and collaborate on projects, such as hAI Magazine, an online publication showcasing sector-specific insights.

Gorski also highlighted the growing importance of CampusAI’s digital twin technology. Beyond operating its own virtual campus, the company intends to develop and license digital replicas of real-world university campuses, corporate showrooms, government facilities, and company headquarters for exclusive organizational use. The digital twins product begins at $100,000 per year.

University Partnerships and Local Innovation

CampusAI has secured €18 million from the European Commission to collaborate with 11 universities across 10 countries – including Greece, Spain, the U.K., France, Luxembourg, and Germany – to create digital twins and customized learning environments for students.

Gorski views these university partnerships as catalysts for establishing local innovation hubs, drawing inspiration from his seven years at Cambridge Innovation Center, where he spearheaded over 10 programs to foster Warsaw’s startup ecosystem. These virtual environments are designed to stimulate community building and the creation of virtual districts, ultimately forming a social platform tailored for entrepreneurs.

The Importance of Local Ecosystems

He stressed the significance of cultivating robust local ecosystems to counterbalance the dominance of large technology companies.

“We believe that focusing on building strong local ecosystems is crucial. Otherwise, the next five years may see a decline in startups, particularly in light of recent developments like OpenAI providing more integrated solutions within a single ecosystem,” he stated.
