Turn Off LED on Sonos: A Simple Guide

Addressing Bright LEDs on Sonos Players
Modern electronic devices increasingly incorporate bright white LEDs. Sonos players are no exception, featuring a prominent white LED that can prove distracting, particularly within environments with subdued lighting.
While these white LEDs can enhance the aesthetic of a device, their intensity isn't always desirable. Fortunately, Sonos provides a straightforward, integrated solution for deactivating this light.
Disabling the LED via the Sonos App
To begin, launch the Sonos application on your device and navigate to the Settings menu.
Within the Settings, locate and uncheck the option labeled "White Status Light On." This action will immediately disable the LED indicator.
Mobile App Instructions
If using the mobile application, initiate the process by opening Settings, then selecting "Room Settings."
Subsequently, choose the specific room associated with the Sonos player whose LED you wish to modify. Multiple rooms can be adjusted if your system includes several.
Finally, toggle the switch adjacent to "White Indicator Light" to disable the illumination.
This method offers a refined alternative to physically covering the LED with materials like tape or adhesive notes. Re-enabling the LED is easily accomplished by reversing these steps.
