Setting Up the Guitar Tuner Skill
For guitarists who regularly utilize a digital tuner to ensure accurate pitch, the Amazon Echo provides a convenient, albeit less sophisticated, alternative. If you possess a well-developed ear for tuning, you can initiate the process entirely hands-free in a matter of seconds.
The initial step involves accessing the Alexa app on your smartphone. Locate and tap the sidebar menu icon situated in the top-left corner of the screen.
Navigating the Alexa App
Within the sidebar menu, select the "Skills" option.
A search bar will appear at the top of the screen. Enter the term "guitar" into this search field.
Enabling the Skill
From the search results, identify and select the "Guitar Tuner" Skill. Tap the "Enable" button to integrate this functionality with your Amazon Echo device.
Upon successful enablement, the button will change to display "Disable," confirming the Skill has been added.
Activating the Tuner
You can now close the Alexa app and approach your Amazon Echo. When you require guitar tuning and your standard digital tuner is unavailable, simply state, "Alexa, ask Guitar Tuner to tune my guitar."
