Disable Shake to Undo in iOS 9 - iPhone Tips

Disabling the "Shake to Undo" Feature in iOS 9
The iOS operating system provides a convenient function allowing users to undo recent typing by simply shaking their device. This is available within applications like Messages, Mail, Calendar, Notes, and Contacts.
While often helpful, this Shake to Undo feature can sometimes be triggered unintentionally. If you find yourself accidentally activating it during normal phone use, it can now be easily deactivated in iOS 9.
How to Turn Off Shake to Undo
To begin, locate and tap the “Settings” icon on your iOS device’s Home screen.
Next, on the “Settings” screen, select the “General” option.
Following this, tap on “Accessibility” from within the “General” settings.
Within the Accessibility menu, you will find “Shake to Undo”. Its current status – either “On” or “Off” – will be displayed to the right.
To modify the setting, simply tap on “Shake to Undo”.
When the feature is currently enabled, a green and white slider button will be visible.
To disable Shake to Undo, tap this slider button.
Once disabled, the slider button will change to a gray and white appearance.
With the feature now turned off, you are free to shake your phone without triggering an unwanted undo action.
Should you wish to re-enable the function at any point, the process is easily reversed.
Important Note
Please remember that this functionality is only available on devices running iOS 9 or later. You must have this version of the operating system installed to disable the “Shake to Undo” feature.
