Alchemist Accelerator Demo Day XXVIII: 23 Pitching Companies

Alchemist Accelerator's 28th Demo Day Showcases Enterprise-Focused Startups

Today marks the occasion of Alchemist’s 28th Demo Day, an event spotlighting companies geared towards the enterprise sector – businesses that primarily serve other companies, rather than individual consumers.

This current group consists of 23 companies. Consistent with recent Alchemist cohorts, this iteration was conducted entirely in a virtual format. Alchemist director Ravi Belani has indicated this approach has proven successful, with attendance at the virtual demo day experiencing a “100%” increase compared to previous in-person events.

Updates from Alchemist Accelerator

A discussion with Belani revealed details about each company’s work and provided updates regarding the accelerator itself. Key updates include:

  • Alchemist has secured an additional $4 million in funding for investment, with backing from NEC, Johnson Controls, and Nornickel.
  • Through its AlchemistX division, the accelerator is expanding into regional programs. These initiatives will collaborate with governmental bodies to foster the growth of local startups. Initial programs are planned for Canada, Japan, and Korea. For instance, a partnership with Innovate Edmonton will focus on community safety-oriented acceleration.
  • Collectively, Alchemist-backed companies have now raised over $1.7 billion in funding.

The Alchemist Demo Day will be live-streamed starting at 10:30 AM Pacific time today.

The following 23 companies will be presenting, in the anticipated order:
