Palta Secures $100 Million in Series B Funding
Palta, a health and wellness applications company, has successfully completed a $100 million Series B funding round. The investment was spearheaded by Per Brilioth of VNV Global, with additional participation from Target Global and a cohort of both current and new investors.
Expansion of Product Portfolio
The newly acquired capital will be strategically allocated towards the development of additional products. This includes enhancements to Palta’s existing suite of applications, such as Flo.Health, Simple Fasting, and Zing Fitness Coach.
Significant Subscriber Base
Palta reports a substantial user base, currently boasting 2.4 million active, paying subscribers across its various applications.
Leveraging the Palta Brain Platform
According to Yuri Gurski, CEO and founder of Palta, the Palta Brain platform is central to the company’s growth strategy. It facilitates rapid scaling of both internally developed products and those acquired from the market.
Future of Health Services
Per Brilioth, CEO of VNV Global, emphasized the evolving landscape of the health industry. He stated that mobile and preventative health services represent the future, and Palta has demonstrated a strong ability to both create and expand its portfolio of mobile subscription offerings.
Global Reach and Revenue Distribution
Palta maintains its headquarters in London, alongside offices in key European cities including Munich, Vilnius, and Warsaw. The company’s revenue is primarily generated from customers located in the United States, accounting for 60% of total income, and Western Europe, contributing 20%.
The company is positioned for continued growth within the digital health market.
