Google Apps Update: iOS 15 Focus Mode & iPad Widgets

Google App Updates for iOS 15
iOS 15 is now available for download, prompting developers to optimize their applications for the new operating system’s features.
Google has announced details regarding the enhancements coming to its suite of apps with support for iOS 15.
Notification Management with Focus Mode
A significant update centers around notification handling within Gmail, Meet, Tasks, Maps, Home, and other Google applications.
When iOS 15’s Focus Mode is activated, notifications deemed non-urgent will be directed to the Notifications Center for later review.
However, time-sensitive alerts, like navigation prompts from Google Maps, will bypass Focus Mode and be delivered immediately.
Google’s objective is to ensure notifications remain “as relevant and timely as possible” for users.
Rollout Timeline
These updates will be implemented across Google’s applications in the “coming weeks.”
