Google Veo 3: New Video Generation Model Released Globally

Google Launches Veo 3 Video Generation to Gemini Subscribers
Google announced on Thursday the commencement of a rollout for its Veo 3 video generation model. This new capability is being extended to Gemini users across more than 159 countries.
Availability and Limitations
Access to video generation powered by the Veo 3 model is currently restricted to individuals who maintain a paid subscription to Google’s AI Pro plan. A daily limit of three generated videos per user has also been implemented.
Veo 3 Capabilities
First demonstrated by Google in May, Veo 3 empowers users to create videos with a maximum duration of eight seconds. Video creation is driven entirely by textual prompts provided by the user.
Future Development
According to Google’s Josh Woodward, the company is actively developing functionality that will enable the generation of videos from still images within the Gemini platform.
This expansion will broaden the creative possibilities offered by Gemini and Veo 3.
