Google+ Now on iPad & iPod Touch

Google+ App Now Compatible with iPad and iPod Touch
The Google+ application is now functional on both the iPad and iPod touch through a dedicated app. Initially, users of these Apple devices encountered difficulties, being unable to download or utilize the program.
A recent update has resolved this issue, granting iPad and iPod touch owners complete access to the Google+ platform.
Not a Dedicated iPad Application
It’s important to note that this release isn't a fully optimized iPad version. The current implementation essentially enables iPad users to download the iPhone app, presenting it as a scaled-up interface.
Unfortunately, landscape mode is not supported, which may be considered a drawback. While this represents an improvement over complete inaccessibility, a native iPad application developed by Google would be preferable.
Improvements for iPhone Users
The update also brings benefits to iPhone users. These include enhancements to app stability, the addition of notifications within circles, and refined settings for huddles.
Acknowledging the iPad Market
Google’s action demonstrates recognition of the iPad user base and their desire for Google+ access. It is hoped that the development of a full, native iPad app will be prioritized.
Users are anticipating a quicker release compared to Facebook’s timeline for its iPad application.
