The utilization of Google’s artificial intelligence products has seen substantial growth over the past year. In October 2024, Gemini recorded 9 million daily active users.

However, by last month, the company’s data indicated a significant increase to 35 million daily active users.

Comparison with Leading AI Platforms

Despite this growth, Gemini currently trails behind the most widely used AI tools in the market.

Google’s estimates, presented in court, suggest that ChatGPT had approximately 600 million monthly active users in March.

This positions ChatGPT with a comparable user base to Meta AI, which CEO Mark Zuckerberg stated in September was approaching 500 million monthly users.

Factors Contributing to Gemini’s Adoption

While direct comparisons of monthly active users (MAUs) can vary between companies, these figures demonstrate the increasing consumer acceptance of Gemini.

Over the last year, Google has actively expanded Gemini’s reach through integrations with various platforms.
