During Google I/O 2025, Google revealed plans to make the underlying AI model powering its innovative music application, MusicFX DJ, accessible through an API.
This model, known as Lyria RealTime, has been integrated into Google’s Gemini API and the AI Studio platform. It allows developers to manipulate AI-generated music in sophisticated ways.
Key Capabilities of Lyria RealTime
Users can now leverage the API to blend various musical genres, modify instrumentation, and adjust the emotional tone of compositions. Precise control is offered over crucial song attributes.
