github gets a dark mode

This is GitHub Universe week, and as expected, the widely-used code management platform is revealing numerous enhancements. Organizations are now able to utilize GitHub Sponsors to financially support open-source initiatives by directly compensating the developers involved. New features include automated pull request merging, discussion forums for all public repositories, and a beta version of dependency reviews. GitHub is also implementing improvements to its continuous delivery capabilities.
However, many are likely most interested in GitHub’s newly released dark mode.
Here’s a look:

Regardless of whether you prefer a bright display or want a more immersive experience akin to that of Mr. Robot while using dark mode, you have the flexibility to customize how you interact with GitHub. Activate dark mode through your settings, or configure it to align with your operating system’s preferences.” This effectively captures the essence of the update.
