PuTTY Tabs - Enhance Your SSH Experience

Enhancing PuTTY with a Tabbed Interface
Many users rely on the PuTTY client for establishing SSH connections from Windows systems. However, its absence of a tabbed interface has led some, including myself, to favor the commercial application SecureCRT for extended periods.
The PuTTY Connection Manager offers a solution, providing a tabbed experience and a streamlined interface while still utilizing the core putty.exe client. Notably, the application itself does not include a bundled copy of PuTTY.
Initial Setup
Upon the initial launch of the application, users will be prompted to specify the file path to their existing PuTTY installation.
This allows the Connection Manager to seamlessly integrate with and leverage the functionality of the PuTTY client you already have configured.
Tabbed Access to PuTTY
Finally, a tabbed interface for PuTTY is available!
The connection manager can be conveniently docked to the side of the screen using the provided pushpin button.
Accessing PuTTY Functionality
Right-clicking on a tab, or navigating through the Tools menu, grants access to the full range of options available within the standard PuTTY menu.
Configuration Options
Within the configuration dialog, a variety of settings can be specified. These include the ability to define an automatic login macro or to pass command-line parameters directly to the putty.exe application.
Users can access these settings either through the configuration button or by selecting "PuTTY Configuration" from the Tools menu.
This action then opens the familiar PuTTY Configuration dialog associated with the underlying putty.exe application.
Additional Features
The application boasts a range of additional features that haven't been detailed here. Customization options, such as theme changes, are also available.
