Pitch Deck Feedback | Extra Crunch Live

The next iteration of Extra Crunch Live, version 2.0, begins next week! We are particularly excited to significantly enhance the Pitch Deck Teardown feature among several other improvements.
Essentially, individuals can now submit their pitch decks to receive constructive criticism from both investors and experienced founders.
The significance of a well-crafted pitch deck should not be overlooked. It frequently represents the initial interaction between a company and potential venture capital investors, yet the precise manner in which investors review a pitch deck – and their genuine impressions – remains largely unknown.
Do they quickly scan the slides, or do they dedicate ample time to each one? Do they value detailed team information or a comprehensive industry overview? Are they more interested in quantitative data or descriptive text? What constitutes an optimal slide count?
These questions are numerous and often lack definitive answers. However, with the Pitch Deck Teardown, we aim to reveal the inner workings of this process. We have previously conducted Pitch Deck Teardowns at events such as Disrupt and Early Stage 2020, and we are expanding this initiative this year.
Anyone is welcome to submit their pitch deck for evaluation by our guest panel, comprised of prominent tech industry leaders. (Please note: Extra Crunch subscribers will receive priority consideration when selecting decks for review during the broadcast.)
We recently detailed the features planned for Extra Crunch Live throughout 2021. Here’s a quick overview:
- Series A – Discover successful fundraising strategies! We will feature discussions with founder/investor teams who will share insights into the Series A pitch decks that secured funding.
- Pitch Deck Teardowns – Participants will have the chance to submit their pitch decks and obtain feedback from our guests, including venture capitalists and founders (You can submit your pitch decks here!).
- Live Pitch-offs – Audience members can volunteer to deliver their elevator pitches live and receive immediate feedback from VCs.
- Networking!! – The Extra Crunch membership fosters a strong community. ECL provides a platform to connect with fellow attendees, even in a virtual setting. You might even find your next co-founder or investor!
- Consistency – ECL will consistently be held at 12pm PT/3pm ET on Wednesdays. Mark your calendars and plan accordingly.
We will be announcing the full lineup of speakers for February tomorrow! Please check back for updates!
