Securing funding represents a significant hurdle for many new space ventures. At TC Sessions Space (December 16-17), we are assembling leading space funding resources to assist founders in discovering avenues to access grant funding for their companies. Each funding program will dedicate 30 minutes to outlining how founders can qualify for and obtain their financial support. Following these sessions, founders can schedule one-on-one discussions with program representatives through CrunchMatch to discuss their specific proposals.

Below are a few of the programs that will be featured:

The Space Force AcceleratorsDiscover how programs like the Hyperspace Challenge, Catalyst Space Accelerator, and other governmental accelerators can establish connections with the U.S. Space Force.

Advancing Space Technology with NASA SBIRGain insights into the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs, which are facilitated by NASA.

NAVWAR SBIR/STTR PrimerThe SBIR/STTR program is a comprehensive initiative designed to support small businesses in addressing governmental requirements while encouraging the commercial application of their technologies. This session will serve as an introduction to the program, offering guidance on participation and engagement with the Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR).

Introduction to In-Q-Tel’s investing activities in the commercial space sectorIn-Q-Tel functions as a strategic investment organization collaborating with the U.S. national security community. For two decades, In-Q-Tel has focused on a single objective: to provide the U.S. government and its partners with cutting-edge technical knowledge and capabilities through a distinctive investment approach. In the last ten years, In-Q-Tel has been a prominent investor in the commercial space industry, pursuing a diverse investment strategy encompassing numerous facets of the sector. This session will offer a comprehensive overview of In-Q-Tel and a detailed discussion of its involvement in the commercial space arena.
