Meet Brendan Wallace

Brendan Wallace is a co-founder and managing partner at Fifth Wall, a leading venture capital firm specializing in proptech, the future of work, and innovative retail solutions. Fifth Wall’s investment portfolio boasts companies like Opendoor, ClassPass, Allbirds, Clutter, Eden, Lime, and Lyric.

Prior to Fifth Wall, Wallace demonstrated his entrepreneurial spirit by co-founding Identified, which was later acquired by Workday, and Cabify, a major ridesharing platform in Latin America. He also actively engaged in angel investing, supporting companies such as Bonobos, Dollar Shave Club, Lyft, and SpaceX.

Wallace’s extensive experience across diverse tech sectors makes him a valuable source of knowledge and insight.

Introducing Assaf Wand

Assaf Wand serves as the co-founder and CEO of Hippo, a modern home insurance provider designed for the digital era. Wand is a seasoned entrepreneur, having previously founded Sabi, a company focused on the design and development of consumer products, which was acquired in 2015.

Wand’s background also includes experience in investment, having served as a strategic investor for Intel Capital, and consulting at McKinsey & Company.

Hippo has successfully secured over $700 million in funding from investors including Bond, Felicis, Comcast, and Horizons.
