Faireez Secures $7.5 Million Seed Funding to Redefine Multifamily Housekeeping

Faireez, a startup focused on delivering “5-star hotel-style housekeeping” to residents of apartment buildings and condominiums, has officially exited stealth mode. The company recently announced a $7.5 million seed funding round, as reported exclusively to TechCrunch.

A Customized Approach to Residential Cleaning

Established in 2023 and headquartered in New York, Faireez centers its business model around highly personalized cleaning services. Residents gain access to a dedicated housekeeper – referred to as a “fairy” – through a subscription service, ensuring consistent and tailored support.

The service allows residents to schedule cleaning appointments via the Faireez website or app. Bookings are based on specific tasks, like dishwashing or floor mopping, rather than being limited to hourly rates.

Strategic Partnerships and Market Reach

While specific revenue details remain undisclosed, Faireez has established connections with leading property management firms and landlords. Currently, the company serves clients across New York, New Jersey, Florida, and Illinois.

Notable partners include Silverstein Properties, Charney Companies, First Service Residential, Ironstate, and BNE. Collectively, these entities oversee approximately 1 million multifamily units.

Leveraging Artificial Intelligence for Enhanced Service

Faireez is integrating artificial intelligence (AI) into several aspects of its operations.

  • AI-Powered Home Scanning: An auto-scan technology, launching later this year, will utilize video analysis to create customized cleaning plans for each residence.
  • Dynamic Pricing: The AI engine will determine pricing based on task size and current supply and demand.
  • AI Quality Assurance: Time-stamped photos documenting each cleaning visit are analyzed by AI to ensure quality control, with real-time notifications provided.

The "Fairy" Workforce and Commitment to Quality

Faireez collaborates with established professional cleaning companies, selecting the top 5% of their employees to become “fairies.”

These housekeepers receive standardized protocols, uniforms, and equipment from Faireez. The consistent assignment of the same housekeeper fosters trust and ensures a uniform standard of service.

Fairies earn 30% to 40% above the average market rate and are eligible for performance-based bonuses.

Future Innovations and Expansion Plans

Faireez intends to introduce robotic assistants to aid housekeepers with routine tasks. These robots will initially be operated remotely, potentially allowing housekeepers in locations like Mexico to service homes in the U.S.

The company’s long-term objective is to provide services to one million multifamily units by 2030.

Currently employing 12 individuals, Faireez will allocate the new funding to further research and development, as well as geographic expansion. Plans include entering four additional states in 2026, with a focus on the West Coast.

Founders’ Previous Success

This venture is not the first collaboration for co-founders Omer Agiv and Ori Fingerer. They previously founded WeissBeerger, an Israeli data analytics company for the beer industry, which was acquired by Anheuser-Busch in 2018 for $80 million.

“Both companies represent the application of advanced technology to traditionally low-tech sectors,” Fingerer explained. “Considering the time people dedicate to daily chores – the average American spends 4.2 years of their life on them – there’s significant potential for disruption.”

Investment Details and Industry Outlook

Aristagora VC spearheaded Faireez’s seed funding round, with participation from Longevity Venture Partners, Hetz Ventures, Secret Chord Ventures, RE Angels, NFX founding partner Gigi Levy-Weiss, and other investors.

Moshe Sarfati, managing partner at Aristagora VC, believes Faireez is poised to “revolutionize a 1,000-year-old industry.”

He stated that the company possesses the necessary elements to become a “game changer” in the residential building amenities market.
