Facebook Launches New Video Chat and Group Messaging Features

Facebook has recently unveiled new video chat capabilities, stemming from its anticipated integration with Skype technology.

Facebook users can immediately begin testing the new video chat by selecting "Get it now" within the video calling preview.

For all other users, the feature will be automatically activated in the coming weeks.

Initiating a video call requires a simple click on the video icon while actively chatting with a friend or reviewing past conversations.

Alongside video chat, a new group messaging system has been introduced.

This allows multiple friends to participate in a single conversation window.

To add friends to an existing chat, users simply click on "Add friends to chat" during a one-on-one conversation.

Group conversations will be saved within the user’s messaging history, just like individual chats.
