Extra Crunch Live: Q&A with Peter Boyce and Katherine Boyle

Today marks a significant occasion as we present the last Extra Crunch Live session of the year, featuring Peter Boyce and Katherine Boyle from General Catalyst, beginning at 4 p.m. EST/1 p.m. PST.

Subscribers to Extra Crunch can participate in the live discussion (further information is provided below) or view a recording at their convenience. Audience participation through questions is welcomed and greatly valued; those not currently members are invited to register here to take part.

General Catalyst is highly regarded as a leading venture capital firm, boasting a successful portfolio that includes well-known companies such as Snap, Kayak, Airbnb, Stripe, HubSpot and GitLab.

Boyce has been a member of the General Catalyst team since 2013, overseeing investments in companies like Ro, Macro, towerIQ and Atom. He also played a key role in substantial investments, including those made in Giphy, Jet.com and Circle. Furthermore, he was instrumental in establishing Rough Draft Ventures, a division of General Catalyst dedicated to providing funding for first-time CEOs emerging from university programs.

Prior to joining General Catalyst, Boyle worked as a business journalist for The Washington Post, providing her with a distinctive understanding of the startup environment. She has made investments in a number of companies, including AirMap, Origin and Nova Credit, and has previously appeared on our program to share guidance for startups dealing with regulatory requirements.

We are eager to explore the opportunities that currently capture their attention, examine how the technology sector, innovation, and venture capital have evolved during the pandemic, and learn about their criteria for evaluating pitches, along with much more.

This is an event you won’t want to overlook.

If you find this appealing, I recommend exploring our archive of Extra Crunch Live episodes available here. We have featured prominent figures such as Roelof Botha, Jason Green, Alexa von Tobel, Aileen Lee, Charles Hudson, and numerous others.

Details regarding today’s session are listed below.
