Encrypt Files in Photos: Hide Data Securely

Concealing Data Within Images
Do you have sensitive information you need to protect from unauthorized access? Consider employing encryption with a personalized password, then cleverly disguising it within a seemingly innocuous image file.
Begin by visiting the developer’s website to download a copy of the portable application.
Installation and Launch
After the download is complete, extract the contents of the archive.
A donation prompt may appear; simply select the option to skip donation to initiate the application.
File Encryption Process
The application interface requires you to specify three key elements: the file you intend to conceal, a JPEG image to serve as the disguise, and the desired output path for the resulting camouflaged image.
On the right-hand side of the interface, activate the checkbox to enable custom password encryption. Then, carefully enter your chosen password.
Initiate the file hiding process by clicking the prominent "camouflage" button.
Verification and File Size
Upon completion, observe the file in your file explorer. You’ll notice an increase in file size, though the disguised file will still function as a standard image.
The extent of the size increase will naturally depend on the size of the hidden file.
File Decryption and Retrieval
To recover your concealed file, navigate to the "de-camouflage" tab. Select the image containing the hidden data, and ensure the password protection checkbox is selected.
Enter the exact same password used during encryption. Incorrect password entry will result in a decryption error message.
If the correct password is provided, your files will be extracted to the previously specified directory.
Discretion and Security
Aside from the increased file size, there are no readily apparent indicators suggesting the presence of hidden content within the image.
This method provides a simple yet effective way to safeguard your sensitive data by concealing it in plain sight.
