ISO Recorder V2 - Easily Burn ISO Images

A Preferred Tool for ISO Image Burning: ISO Recorder V2

For burning ISO images, my application of choice is ISO Recorder V2. I’ve utilized this software for several years and appreciate its simplicity and the fact that it is available at no cost, though contributions are welcomed by the developer.

It’s worth noting that supporting open-source or freeware applications with a small donation is a commendable practice, should you find them valuable. Now, let's focus on ISO Recorder V2 itself.

Installation and Initial Setup

The installation process is remarkably streamlined. The download file is under half a megabyte in size, and the installation requires only two clicks to complete.

Alex Feinman, the application’s creator, appropriately categorizes this tool as a Windows Powertoy, a designation with which I wholeheartedly concur. Versions are available for both Windows XP and Vista.

Once an ISO file has been downloaded, simply right-click on it and select "Copy Image To CD" from the context menu. This will launch ISO Recorder.

The program then allows you to select the desired media and drive for burning the image. Options are also provided to adjust recording speed and erase existing disc content, if needed.

Burning Process and Results

A progress bar is displayed during the burning process, providing a visual indication of completion.

The software consistently delivers successful burns.
