e.ventures Expands to Paris - New Office Opening

The venture capital company e.ventures is growing its presence throughout Europe by establishing a new location in Paris and welcoming a new partner to lead it. Jonathan Userovici, formerly with Idinvest Partners, is now joining e.ventures as a partner and will serve as the head of the Paris office.

Established in the United States two decades ago, e.ventures has been strategically broadening its reach into new global markets in recent years. The firm currently maintains offices in San Francisco, Berlin, Beijing, Tokyo, São Paulo, and now Paris.

In the previous year, the company secured funding for two new investment vehicles – a $225 million fund concentrating on U.S. ventures, and a $175 million fund operating from Berlin with a focus on European companies. The Paris-based team will allocate funds to French startups, typically investing between €1 million and €10 million.

Throughout its history spanning the last twenty years, e.ventures has participated in approximately 200 investment deals. Notable successes within its portfolio include investments in companies like Farfetch, Groupon, Sonos, and Segment.

Jonathan Userovici brings five years of experience from Idinvest Partners, during which he actively supported several emerging French companies. He currently holds a board position at both Swile and Ornikar.

e.ventures believes its geographically diverse team will enable it to identify strong investment prospects across Europe and assist those companies in achieving global growth. The firm’s existing network within the U.S. is expected to be a valuable asset for French entrepreneurs seeking to finalize agreements and expand internationally.
