Adding Your First Feed: A Step-by-Step Guide

Download Feed Notifier and let’s add MakeUseOf as your initial feed!

1. • Launch the application and right-click the tray icon, then select "Preferences…".
   • Click the "Add…" button and input the MakeUseOf RSS feed URL, or my MakeUseOf author feed URL if you prefer.

• Click "Next >" to proceed to the feed name retrieval and option adjustment stage:

These settings are recommended for the MakeUseOf feed and are, conveniently, the default suggestions provided by Feed Notifier. If you are using my feed, consider checking for updates daily instead of hourly.

Upon application, recent RSS posts may appear automatically. If they do, and you wish to dismiss them, simply click the fast forward button to close the notification. From then on, you will receive the latest, continuous updates.
