Locate the newly created ZIP file in Windows Explorer. Right-click on the file and select Rename.

Modify the file extension from .zip to .cbz and press Enter. This completes the process, resulting in a CBZ file that is compatible with most comic reader programs.

Note: The CBZ format is a zipped archive, while CBR typically uses a RAR archive. The process for creating a CBR is similar, but requires a RAR archiving tool instead of the built-in Windows zip functionality.

CBR files can be generated using software like WinRAR – which is available for free, though it displays a notification after a 40-day trial – or 7-zip. The resulting file should then be renamed to reflect the appropriate extension.
