CoachHub Raises $80M Series B2 Funding - Digital Coaching Growth

The Rise of Digital Coaching and CoachHub's Expansion
The professional coaching sector has experienced significant growth in recent years. This expansion is due to the increasing convenience of remote coaching for practitioners and the enhanced efficiency of digital coaching for clients.
However, a challenge emerged: discerning quality coaching services. Simultaneously, corporations recognized the potential benefits for their employees but faced the same difficulty in identifying suitable coaches.
CoachHub's AI-Powered Solution and Funding
Responding to this need, CoachHub launched three years ago, leveraging AI to create a marketplace that effectively vets and matches coaches with clients. The demand for digital training and development has surged, particularly accelerated by the global pandemic.
Recently, CoachHub secured $80 million in a Series “B2” funding round. This brings the total Series B investment to $110 million.
The funding round saw participation from prominent investors including Draper Esprit, RTP Global, HV Capital, Signals Venture Capital, Partech, and Speedinvest. Since its inception in 2019, the company has now raised a total of $130 million.
Competitive Landscape and Growth
Last year, CoachHub completed a $30 million Series B round, again led by Draper Esprit, with contributions from existing investors HV Capital, Partech, Speedinvest, Signals Venture Capital, and RTP Global.
The company operates in a competitive market, facing rivals such as AceUp, a Boston-based aggregator that has raised $2.3 million.
CoachHub reports a tripling of its workforce and the addition of notable clients. These include major organizations like Fujitsu, Electrolux, Babbel, ViacomCBS, and KPMG.
Statements from Leadership
Yannis Niebelschütz, Co-founder and Chief Sales Director, stated that the new funding will enable the company to address the growing demand for digital training and personal development solutions. This demand has been significantly amplified by the pandemic.
Christoph Hornung, Investment Director at Draper Esprit, emphasized that the shift towards digital solutions extends beyond the pandemic. He highlighted that platforms like CoachHub provide more dynamic and accessible tools for organizational transformation through training and education.
Global Reach and Coaching Network
CoachHub utilizes AI to connect individuals with a network of over 2,500 business and well-being coaches. These coaches operate in 70 countries across six continents.
Coaching sessions are offered in more than 60 languages, ensuring broad accessibility and catering to a diverse global clientele.
