Meet Iyah Romm
Iyah Romm established Cityblock in 2017 and has served as its CEO since its inception. Prior to founding Cityblock, he was an entrepreneur in residence at Sidewalk Labs, where the company originated.
His career includes extensive experience in both public health and private care, including roles as chief transformation officer at Commonwealth Care Alliance, and positions at the Health Policy Commission and the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.
Meet Ambar Bhattacharyya
Ambar Bhattacharyya brings over a decade of venture capital experience, having worked at Bessemer and Bain, and currently at Maverick Ventures.
He has a proven track record, with investments in companies achieving 11 successful exits through IPOs and acquisitions, including four companies that reached unicorn status in the public market.
His expertise is specifically focused on early and growth-stage healthcare companies, making him a knowledgeable voice in the field.

Maverick Ventures participated in Cityblock’s Series A funding, as well as its Series B, and both the Series C and C extension rounds completed last year.
