The underlying cause of the disruption was pinpointed within approximately one hour of initial reports.

A status page update, posted at 5:43 a.m., confirmed that a solution was being actively implemented. Further updates at 7:09 a.m. indicated the fix had been deployed and was undergoing monitoring to ensure stability.

API Downtime Also Resolved

Alongside the core ChatGPT service, OpenAI’s API also experienced downtime this morning. However, OpenAI has since communicated that this issue has been resolved.
