Brex Projects $500 Million in Annual Revenue for 2025

According to an insider with knowledge of the company’s internal figures, Fintech company Brex is forecasting annual net revenue of $500 million by the year 2025. This projection was reported by both Bloomberg and The Information.

Although Brex has not officially confirmed the exact revenue figure, the company has disclosed a substantial increase in its financial performance. Specifically, Brex has experienced a threefold increase in overall revenue compared to the previous year.

Growth in Enterprise Business

Further details shared with TechCrunch indicate significant expansion within Brex’s enterprise sector. The company reports an 80% year-over-year growth rate in this segment.

Currently, Brex serves a client base that includes more than 150 publicly traded companies. Notable customers include Anthropic, Arm, Robinhood, ServiceTitan, Sonos, and Wiz.

Path to Profitability and Potential IPO

In a 2024 interview with TechCrunch, CEO and co-founder Pedro Franceschi stated his expectation for the company to achieve cash-flow positivity by 2025.

Franceschi also suggested that an Initial Public Offering (IPO) would be considered shortly after the company demonstrates sustained profitability, emphasizing the necessity of reaching that milestone first.

Funding and Valuation

To date, Brex has secured over $1.5 billion in funding through a combination of primary and secondary transactions.

The company reached a peak valuation exceeding $12.3 billion in 2022.
