Boardy AI Raises $8M Seed Round - AI-Powered Meeting Insights

Boardy Secures $8 Million Seed Funding Round
Following a previously announced $3 million pre-seed investment, AI-powered networking startup Boardy has successfully closed an $8 million seed round. The funding was spearheaded by Creandum.
How Boardy Facilitates Connections
Boardy distinguishes itself by connecting users with relevant contacts through an innovative approach. Users engage in conversation with an AI agent, which then intelligently matches them with individuals the system deems valuable for networking.
Since its initial launch and the completion of its pre-seed funding in October, the company has demonstrated significant traction. According to Andrew D’Souza, co-founder and CEO, Boardy has completed over 10,000 phone calls.
Key Achievements and Growth
The platform has successfully facilitated more than 9,000 connections between users. These connections have reportedly resulted in startups securing crucial partnerships and investment opportunities.
Investor Interest Driven by Product Experience
D’Souza emphasized the organic nature of this $8 million funding round. Investors proactively contacted him after personally experiencing the benefits of the Boardy platform.
“Investors interacted with Boardy’s AI directly before engaging with me or any member of the team,” D’Souza explained in an email communication.
Participants in the Seed Round
In addition to Creandum’s leadership, the seed round included participation from notable investors such as Andy Dunn, Leah Solivan, and Andrew Yeung.
Boardy is rapidly establishing itself as a unique player in the networking space, leveraging AI to create meaningful professional connections.
