Beyond Meat Launches New Beyond Burger Versions

Today, Beyond Meat revealed the upcoming release of two updated formulations of its popular Beyond Burger.

These new choices will become available in retail locations throughout 2021, though consumers can sample them first at a limited-time pop-up experience in Los Angeles.

The redesigned Beyond Burger patties aim to replicate the variety found in traditional beef offerings, introducing both a reduced-fat choice and an enhanced, higher-fat version—which the company asserts will be its most flavorful and realistic patty yet.

According to a company release, the lower-fat variety contains half the amount of saturated fat and 35% less total fat compared to 80/20 ground beef. Furthermore, both new burger options provide fewer calories and include supplemental vitamins and minerals to match the nutritional composition of beef.
