InstaFB: Automatically Share Instagram Photos to Facebook

Instagram and Facebook Integration with InstaFB
Instagram stands as a widely used application for photo sharing. It uniquely blends the functionality of capturing and disseminating spontaneous images with a diverse selection of distinctive image filters.
Currently, Instagram’s availability is limited to the iPhone and other iOS-based devices equipped with a camera.
Expanding Your Reach Beyond Instagram
Individuals with a strong desire to share their photos may find the Instagram community insufficient. Therefore, integrating Instagram with the world’s largest social network – Facebook – presents a valuable strategy.
InstaFB is designed to facilitate this integration. It functions by automatically transferring your Instagram photos to your Facebook profile.
How InstaFB Works
The core function of InstaFB is to bridge the gap between these two popular platforms. By automating the transfer process, users can effortlessly share their Instagram content with a broader audience on Facebook.
This allows for increased visibility and engagement with a wider network of friends and followers.
- InstaFB automates photo transfers.
- It connects Instagram to Facebook.
- The result is expanded content distribution.
Streamlining Social Media: Utilizing InstaFB
Like many online services, accessing the functionality of InstaFB requires initial user authentication. However, this platform distinguishes itself through a unique characteristic. InstaFB operates by integrating two distinct web services, necessitating login credentials for both to enable their combined operation.

- The process begins with connecting to your Facebook account. Simply click the blue "Connect" button and enter your login details, followed by clicking "Log In".

- Following this, granting InstaFB access to your Facebook account is required. Click "Allow" to authorize this access. If you have concerns regarding third-party applications accessing your account, this is the appropriate juncture to discontinue the process.

- Subsequently, proceed with Instagram authentication. Select the brown "Sign In" button and input your username and password.

- Authorization for InstaFB to access your Instagram account is then requested. Confirm access by clicking the "Yes" button.

- A final step involves naming the destination photo album. This album, located on Facebook, will serve as the repository for all transferred Instagram photos. You have the option to initially transfer up to 50 existing Instagram photos. Finally, click the "Connect" button to initiate the transfer.

- Once both accounts are successfully linked, the "Overview" panel becomes visible. This panel allows you to switch between different account pairings or to terminate the current connection.

The system then operates autonomously, requiring no further user intervention. From this point forward, each new Instagram photo captured will be automatically published to the designated photo album within your Facebook account – until the service is deactivated.
Filling Your Facebook Photo Album
Once the system is configured, access your Facebook profile. All of your Instagram images will be visible within the designated album. In my case, with only three Instagram photos, they were all present.
However, it’s important to note that if you possess over 50 photos on Instagram, only the most recent 50 will be transferred to Facebook.

To test the functionality, I captured a new image using the Instagram application. A filter was applied for image processing, and a title was assigned before selecting "Done" to initiate the upload and sharing process to the Instagram server.

Upon completion of the upload, I revisited the Facebook photo album. The newly uploaded image was immediately displayed, confirming the system’s operational status.
The Instagram app itself provides a built-in option for sharing photos directly to Facebook, alongside other social platforms. This feature can be found within the "Edit sharing settings" menu, accessible through your account tab.

During testing, I encountered difficulties accessing my Facebook account through the Instagram interface. I experienced a continuous login loop. If you are able to successfully link Facebook from within Instagram, please verify if this feature is currently functioning as expected.
