Silicon Road Ventures Launches $31 Million Fund for Atlanta Startups

A new venture capital option is now available to Atlanta-based startups with the finalization of Silicon Road Ventures’ $31 million fund.

Operating from Atlanta, Silicon Road makes investments throughout the United States.

Investment Focus Areas

The firm concentrates its investments on several key sectors. These include e-commerce, the retail industry, and consumer packaged goods.

Specifically, Silicon Road Ventures targets companies involved in in-store retail technologies, solutions for shoppers, multi-channel commerce, supply chain innovations, logistics technologies, and financial technologies and payment systems.

Fund Performance and Goals

Established two years ago, the fund successfully invested in 10 startups during 2020. It aims to add another 20 companies to its portfolio with this new fund.

A key advantage offered by the firm is its “corporate connect” program. This program leverages the extensive experience of founder and managing partner, Sid Mookerji, in e-commerce, retail, and consumer packaged goods to facilitate connections between corporations and promising startups.
