Apple MagSafe Duo Charger Now Available

Apple first unveiled the MagSafe Duo back in October, a portable, foldable charger designed to wirelessly power both an iPhone and either an Apple Watch or AirPods at the same time. Notably, the company did not initially announce a specific date for when the product would become available for purchase – or even begin shipping. Speculation ranged from a late December release, with some questioning if it would launch before the year’s end. This led to uncertainty regarding the actual release timeframe.

Now, it appears the wait is over. The MagSafe Duo has just become available through Apple’s official online store, and current shipping estimates indicate deliveries could begin as early as this week.

Matthew Panzarino, Editor-In-Chief at TechCrunch, recently tested the charger and described it as “practical, though pricey and not particularly impressive,” suggesting a more appropriate price point would be approximately $70, rather than the current $129.
