Initial Access and Potential Subscription Model
Initially, the new Alexa will be made available to a select group of users without charge, according to Reuters. However, Amazon is also evaluating a potential subscription fee ranging from $5 to $10 per month.
Regardless of the pricing model, the currently available version, termed “Classic Alexa,” will remain accessible to users.
