Manus Launches Team Plan for Small Businesses
Manus, the AI agent platform that gained significant attention recently, has announced a new offering specifically designed for small businesses and organizations.
This new plan, called Manus Team, is priced at $39 per user per month, requiring a minimum of five seats. This results in a total monthly cost of $195.
Key Features of Manus Team
Each team subscribing to Manus Team receives a shared pool of 19,500 credits. Furthermore, subscribers gain access to beta features, dedicated infrastructure, and prioritized access during periods of high demand.
These credits are utilized to execute tasks, such as transferring data from a website into a spreadsheet format. The credit consumption varies depending on task complexity; more demanding tasks can require hundreds, or even thousands, of credits.
Task Execution and Reliability
Users within a team can execute up to two tasks simultaneously. An optional “high-effort mode” is also available, designed to enhance the reliability of task completion.
Manus experienced a surge in popularity in March, fueled by a successful social media marketing initiative. Since then, the company has introduced several premium services and a dedicated mobile application.
Recent Funding and Future Expansion
Butterfly Effect, the startup developing the Manus platform, has reportedly secured $75 million in funding. This funding round was led by Benchmark and resulted in a company valuation of $500 million.
Manus is actively planning to broaden its market reach, with upcoming expansions into regions like Japan and the Middle East. The company is also committed to continuous improvement of the underlying AI models that drive its functionality.
Current AI Model Utilization
Currently, Manus leverages Anthropic’s Claude 3.7 Sonnet and customized iterations of Alibaba’s Qwen as its primary AI engines.
The company intends to continue upgrading these models to enhance performance and capabilities.
