adobe illustrator launches on ipad and adobe fresco comes to the iphone

Adobe has now made the initial public release of its Illustrator application for vector graphics on the iPad. This announcement follows a period of pre-ordering and private beta access, and many Illustrator professionals have been anticipating its arrival.
Alongside this launch, Adobe also revealed that its Fresco application for drawing and painting is now accessible on Apple’s iPhone. Previously, Fresco required a Windows computer or an iPad for operation.
The iPad version of Illustrator is compatible with Apple Pencil, as expected, and is designed to provide a familiar and straightforward experience for current Illustrator users. Similar to the approach taken with Photoshop, the development team has modified the user interface to suit a smaller display, aiming for a more efficient workflow.

The company intends to continually expand Illustrator’s features, including the addition of more effects, brushes, and features powered by artificial intelligence, across all platforms – including the iPad version.

Leveraging Adobe’s Creative Cloud libraries, users can begin a sketch on their iPhone and seamlessly continue their work on another device. It’s important to note that the iPhone iteration of Fresco will maintain the same interface, brushes, and capabilities found on other supported platforms.
In addition, Adobe has released version 2.0 of Fresco today, introducing new smudge brushes, integration with personalized brushes from Adobe Capture, and further enhancements.
