Frequently, I’ve been asked about the possibility of triggering Flip 3D simply by moving the mouse cursor to a screen corner. Previously, I recommended utilizing a more robust Switcher alternative. However, a new option is now available.

A solution to this request is presented by a small application known as Vista Flip 3D Activator. This tool allows users to designate a specific corner of their screen to initiate Flip 3D, assuming Flip 3D hasn’t been previously disabled.

The installation process is straightforward. Download the program file, extract its contents, and proceed through the installation wizard.

Following installation, you can select the desired screen corner to activate Flip 3D.

Assignment of a mouse button is also possible, though it’s important to note that this function does not override existing IntelliMouse configurations. Once Flip 3D is activated, the mouse wheel can be used to navigate between open windows, and a click will select the desired window.

For those interested, Flip 3D can be kept visible without additional software. This can be achieved by clicking the "Window Switcher" icon in the Quick Launch toolbar (located second from the left), or by employing the keyboard shortcut Win+Ctrl+Tab. Ultimately, this utility primarily streamlines access, reducing the need to click the Quick Launch icon.
