3drens helps fleet operators use their vehicles more efficiently

The IoT mobility management platform developed by 3Drens provides fleet operators with more than just vehicle location tracking; it generates valuable data to support strategic business choices. Initially launched in its home country of Taiwan, the company has since broadened its reach to include the Southeast Asian market. Currently showcasing its innovations at CES’ Taiwan Tech Arena, 3Drens is responding to the heightened need for logistics solutions spurred by the COVID-19 pandemic. As an illustration, their technology offers the possibility for smaller online retailers to utilize spare capacity on delivery vehicles from larger logistics providers through a rental model.
3Drens’ customer base extends to businesses in the vehicle rental, ride-sharing, and food delivery industries. Established in 2017, one of 3Drens’ early adopters was an electric scooter business primarily catering to tourists. They integrated 3Drens’ IoT device onto their scooters to provide notifications regarding potential accidents or instances where a user exceeded their rental period. Furthermore, the system created a visual representation of scooter usage patterns, enabling the company to establish collaborations with frequently visited locations and points of interest.
The 3Drens platform also assists logistics companies in selecting the most appropriate vehicle for each delivery, forecasting optimal routes, and efficiently assigning new tasks to drivers during their return trips after completing a delivery.
