Cosmonot - Journey to the Heavens

The musical project, Cosmonot, originated in the spring of 2010 as a solitary endeavor spearheaded by Alex Smith, also the vocalist for Down Seven. Smith initially utilized minimal recording equipment and personally performed all instrumentation.
During his first year at the University of Missouri, he independently recorded and distributed two demo albums.
Work on Cosmonot’s debut studio album commenced in early 2012.
The album, titled To the Sky, was officially released on May 18th of that same year.
As stated on their Bandcamp page: “Cosmonot began in the spring of 2010 as a solo project for Down Seven frontman Alex Smith. Using extremely low-end equipment and playing all of the instruments himself, Smith recorded and released two demo albums while in his freshman year at the University of Missouri. In early 2012, recording for Cosmonot's first studio album began, and "To the Sky" was released May 18 of that year.”

Forever After - Pictures
