Established in 2021, Predibase was founded by Devvret Rishi, Piero Molino, and Travis Addair, who currently serve as CEO, Chief Science Officer, and CTO respectively. The company successfully secured over $28 million in venture capital funding.

Predibase’s funding rounds included investments from prominent venture capital firms such as Felicis, Greylock, and Sancus Ventures. This strong investor backing highlights the company’s potential and innovative approach.

Sinha further explained that Predibase addresses key challenges related to the performance and cost of deploying large language models for agentic and other AI applications, complementing Rubrik’s focus on secure data access.
